1/12/2024 0 Comments Orangetheory pricing 2021![]() I am contemplating whether I will be able to keep up though as I start training for my first marathon. The Unlimited membership is well worth it to me. I give it my all and reap the rewards in armfuls. I attend OTF 5-6 days a week at 5am and it's the highlight of my morning. My 1 mile PR now is 5:23, and I plan to destroy it when it comes around again. During CMIYC last week I ran 3 miles in 18:00 before slowing down. Could I have run a 6 minute mile when I started OTF? Maybe, the earliest 1 mile benchmark I have is from a Mar '21 and it's 5:58. I quit taking walking recoveries about halfway through the year and I base pace at 8.5mph. Looking back in the app, a year ago I was averaging about 6mph for a tread block. Although I've always loved running, my paces have sped up considerably since I started a year ago. I had a really bad week 2 weeks ago and binged on junk food quite a bit.) However, the OTHER changes are completely noticeable and honestly more important. (But my nutrition can be hit or miss too. So overall, I've lost a little over 10 lbs in 3 months which isn't the quickest weight loss. In running, I have to walk my bases still, but am increasing the speed on that and can run all of the pushes and AOs they've thrown at us recently! And, I kicked butt at the 500m row and was #1 woman-which wouldn't have been the case last month because I wouldn't have had the endurance to last that long at that power. This month, I am down to 251lbs, noticed that there are actual muscles underneath my flab, and just had to buy new bras because especially my sports bras are too loose now and result in much movement on the tread lol I also had to buy new shirts because my old ones are all laughably loose. Most importantly though, this is when I found my physical strength specialty: rowing sprints! I was #1 woman across all age ranges at my studio for the 200m row. ![]() I also was at a point that I could run up to 1 min AOs and 90s pushes. BUT, I also do monthly measurements and I lost inches almost everywhere on my body and had to buy new jeans. I weighed in for the TC at 258lbs, so a loss of 7 lbs over 2 months. In my second month, I dropped a couple more pounds. (I started out struggling with 12 lbs on most moves, now the only things I use less than 20-25lbs on are tricep-focused moves because my triceps are stupid lol) In my first month, I only lost 1-2 lbs, but I noticed significant improvements in the weights I was using on floor exercises. I'm almost done with 3 months now.įor context, I am 5'9", was at 265lb when i started, and I couldn't run for an entire 30s AO. I did 2x/week for 3 weeks, then 3x/week for 2 weeks, then 4x/week since then. It depends on what you want to define as results! I've been going since the start of December.
